Blue Mountain Rodeo had their end of the year BBQ this week and instead of jumping on horses like we have all year, we had a friendly game of kickball in the arena!

These student athletes have done great things for Blue Mountain this year, and we were happy to give them a night “off”!

Stay tuned for CNFR updates and who may be joining the pack next year!!

It’s all about the NEXT GENERATION right??

Blue Mountain Rodeo’s student athletes chose to share their wealth of knowledge with so many young athletes tonight. We are so grateful for the parents that choose to give their children every opportunity to add more tools to their tool box!

Tonight we built character, introduced new concepts, and refined great habits!

A big thank you to ALL who came to support, eager to learn, and step up!

As Blue U Rodeo continues to prepare for the College Finals in Casper, Wyo next month, it’s never too late to go back to the basics 😎

BMCC Rodeo wants to give more to their community and surrounding areas, and we’re here for it!

These athletes have learned from the best to get to Blue Mountain and they want to pass that information on to YOU 🤠

There will be at least two coaches for each event, to help understand the fundamentals and build a foundation to success!

We want to present our nominees for the McCrae Award - Women's Athlete of the Year! This annual award has been given for 50 years and this year we will name the 50th Women's Athlete of the Year. Our nominees are:

Its official, these 9 Timberwolves have punched their tickets to the College National Finals Rodeo in Casper, WY! They will head to the finals June 14th - 20th, 2026 to compete for a national title! Let's go Wolves!!

The 2026 NW Region Wrap Up

What a record breaking year for —
BLUE MOUNTAIN RODEO

First and foremost, we would like to give a HUGE thank you to our Rodeo Boosters for putting on one of the best NW Regional Finals to date! Without their unwavering support and commitment to our student athletes, we would not be where we are today inside and outside of the arena. They proudly presented BMCC Rodeo a $25,000 check to our program that will go towards scholarships and more to keep this program successful and competitive!

Secondly, Blue Mountain Community College itself stepped up, built one of the most iconic buildings in the Northwest, and lended a hand in productions by streaming live slacks and performances! They were there to receive the check for scholarships and watch the rodeo unfold!

Thirdly, the student athletes. Because of all that was stated above, our athletes are able to get the adequate practice throughout the year to compete at the highest level, all while getting an education that will support their future endeavors!
The student athletes this year have been one of the best groups to ever step foot in Pendleton, Ore! The talent from this group is going to not only represent BMCC RODEO in Casper, Wyo for the CNFR, but they are really going places after their journey here!
The pressure was ON for the last rodeo of the year and we had multiple student athletes on the outside looking in. They not only did their jobs, but they took their grit and determination and punched their tickets to the CNFR!

We salute ALL who lended a helping hand in this years rodeo season!

BMCC Men’s Team was able to clench the Reserve Team Title, resulting in Coach Trevor Patterson getting to take a full team of 6 boys to Casper, Wyo!

BMCC Women’s Team was able to clench the Champion Team Title, resulting in Coach Jade Benevides getting to take a full team of 4 girls to Casper, Wyo!

This is not the last time you will see BMCC RODEO in the winner’s circle!

We are COLLEGE NATIONAL FINALS BOUND!
