Another incredibly heartwarming party yesterday!!! Two Seneca Senior High School graduates, brothers, and their families celebrated at Jenkins yesterday!! I ended up with a new grilling contact (for other parties), some fabulous chicken, and at least two new friends. How lucky can I be? Oh, and the rain even stopped long enough for some football.

Another day, another wonderful opportunity! Saturday we'll welcome two Seneca Senior High School graduates and their family to Jenkins for a wonderful cerebration. Yes, families love our site because, well, we make the party easier and honestly, that means no need to clean your own house! Parties under 50 rent the house for $250!

Sigh.... Y'all already know how much this venue has matured in the past few months. But this week??? WOW. Three events. Three wonderful families. I'm choosing to share the sunset pic from our side entranct instead. Because, well, SUNSETS!!!

Another week, another incredible event at Jenkins House. I'm rather in love with this old house and its ever-expanding gardens. Friday night we were lucky enough to host the rehearsal dinner after-party for Grace and Liam. 130 came and spent a magical evening. More pictures to come!

Oh wow!!! Pendleton Historic Foundation board member and all around awesome person is honored! The DAR honored our own Rick Owens this week. Make sure y’all buy him lunch next time because he does such a great job.

Sorry for a week with no posts. Y’all know how it is. But our master gardener Lauren McGarry wants to make sure you see this incredible iris!!!! Now I have a place in my heart for irises, as the low maintenance showgirls of a garden. But these might be the Taylor Swift showgirls!! Every day there’s a new flower to admire. What else should we plant?

Our wonderful weekend keeps going for Jenkins House Event Venue! We visited our neighbors at Split Creek Farm for their spring celebration. We can debate who's the GOAT across many sports and music genres, but I think I got some great GOAT pics today!

WOW. We hosted a lovely dinner for 40 last night on the lawn and welcomed the Anderson County Municipal Association for the first time!! Hopefully not the last time You can see the beautiful light that crosses our front lawn and makes for a perfect dinner setting.

Thanks to Town of Pendleton Municipal Complex, South Carolina, Anderson County Economic Development Pendleton Historic Foundation !!! Thanks to Ruffage. and the amazing Jen for the incredible food! She gave us an introduction to their new restaurant, Towne, which will be on Pendleton Square. It opens by summer and will give us one more incredible place to eat.

It's the week before Jubilee, and all through the Jenkins House gardens are blooming and beauty is everywhere. If you would like to stop by for a visit, I will be there Thursday for a lunchtime tour. Thanks to Powell Hickman, we have some of the original medial tools set up in an alcove. You can also see the newly cleared back yard, a perfect spot for an evening party. Hope to see you on Thursday!!
