🔩 **MONDAY BIT BREAKDOWN: SC-75**

The **SC-75** is a good one when you need a little more **“hey, listen up”** without putting a ton of movement in their mouth.

It has **very little gag**, so the mouthpiece stays more stable and comes in quicker and cleaner. The **curb starts working first**, giving them that little warning before you ever really have to get into the mouthpiece.

🐴 **I’d reach for this one on a horse that:**
• Needs a little more attention going into a turn
• Gets strong but doesn’t like a lot of gag
• Needs help with rate without you having to keep pulling

**Barrel racer talk:**
You can pick up, let that curb say **“hey, get ready,”** and if they listen, you don’t have to keep getting in their face.

And the mouthpiece matters. A **Mullen in this cheek can help take some of the noodleness out of one and stiffen it up a little**, while a more flexible mouthpiece is going to give you a completely different feel.

Same cheek. Different mouthpiece. Different horse.
