The most repeated comment I get in classes is, "This is so relaxing!" And there's a good reason why.
Working with clay can be therapeutic because it gives people a hands-on way to express themselves. The physical act of shaping clay can support grounding, mindfulness, and creative exploration. Because clay is responsive and forgiving, it allows room to adjust, experiment, and make visible choices as you create. That flexibility is part of what makes clay such a valuable material in therapeutic and creative work.
