You don't have to be an artist to create beautiful art! Thanks for visiting my Page! My name is Joanie and I am the owner/creator of Weathered Wings Art. I started this page because of my love of painting. My professional background is Accounting, but I've always nurtured my creative side by doing some kind of painting, whether it be on walls, canvas, or furniture. I've recently become an empty -

nester , so I've decided to make my hobby into a business. The name, Weathered Wings, represents my faith in my Lord and Savior. It's easy to have faith when God answers all our prayers; but I consider that to be a fair-weather faith. Faith is really faith in the storms, or the trials, of life. As I've weathered the storms throughout my life, my faith has become stronger. It's more of a decision now, rather than a feeling, and it's not always easy. Clinging to faith gives me a calming sense of peace amid the storms. I also love birds! I think they are beautiful creations and a reminder of God's faithfulness. Psalm 91:4 He will cover you with His feathers, and under His wings you may seek refuge,....
Painting gives me an odd sense of peace as well. I have a passion for creating new things around my house or making old things like new. Thanks again for visiting!
