Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of Gillian Welch’s Revival at CaveFest 🤍

Gillian Welch’s debut album was released on April 9, 1996—the same night she and David Rawlings made their Grand Ole Opry debut performing “Paper Wings.” As they tell it, they were so nervous they nearly ran off stage before realizing they’d earned an encore… with a little advice from Whisperin’ Bill Anderson: “Next time, walk slower.”
