One year ago today, I took a leap of faith and opened the doors to our shop. Looking back now, it’s hard to put into words how grateful I am for everything this past year has brought.

To every single client who has trusted me—and our team—with your tattoos, thank you. Your support has allowed this dream to grow into something I never imagined, and I don’t take that for granted for a second.

To my artists and apprentices, thank you for believing in this vision and helping make this shop feel like home. Watching each of you grow, create, and support one another has been one of the most rewarding parts of this journey. I’m so proud of everything we’ve built together.

This past year has been filled with long days, challenges, lessons, and so many unforgettable moments, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Here’s to the friendships we’ve made, the memories we’ve created, and all the tattoos still to come.

From the bottom of my heart, thank you for making this first year so special. I can’t wait to see what year two has in store. 🖤

HOW TO AVOID SCAMS

Our team has recently become aware of a “tattoo artist” claiming to be an artist at our shop. He told some clients that his shop address was our own, completely FALSE, and took their deposit money and blocked them. This person is NOT associated with our shop in any manner whatsoever and never has been.

The easiest way to spot a scam is the following:
-account age
-reverse image search profile photos/images on their page
-they only accept forms of payment that don’t have scam protection (i.e. zelle, apple pay, chime)
-only one form of social media
-Price seems too good to be true
-listed only has a “mobile tattoo artist”/no home shop

For example, this scammer found the ink set up image on pinterest to put up on his booking page. His tik tok account is only 3 months old and he has no other social medias displaying his work and has nothing associated with our shop on his page and our shop has never posted about him. He also only listed zelle/apple pay/chime as valid forms of payment which are all big indicators of scammers.

Our tattoo artists/apprentices will NEVER ask for a deposit through zelle, apple pay, or anything that doesn’t have scam protection. We encourage you to do your due diligence when booking because people are evil and will take advantage of people looking for a little ink, especially in a world with rapidly evolving generative AI.

If you’re ever concerned about sending a deposit, we encourage you to set up an in person consultation prior to sending over the deposit and/or contacting the shop they claim to work at to verify. Scammers won’t do in person meet ups.
