Non-Profit Spotlight: Little Feet Big Dreams

Little feet, Big dreams NFP Inc. is making a meaningful difference for children across the 93rd District and Central Illinois by hand-painting shoes and donating them to kids in need. Their mission is to create personalized gifts that show children they are seen, valued, and supported by their community.

Little Feet Big Dreams proves that small acts of kindness can leave a lasting impact. Their work brings together volunteers, donors, and community members to help brighten children's lives one pair of shoes at a time.

Spirit is a wild Mustang who can’t be broken, only befriended, just like our big emotions like anger or anxiety.

You can’t just force your feelings to go away (like trying to force a horse to obey). You have to understand them, be patient with them, and learn to ride through them.

Just like the PALs on the frontier, our brains have different modes.

Some days we have to be brave like Lucky when we're learning something new, or setting boundaries.

Other days, we need to be like Pru and stay calm during a loud or chaotic environment.

And some days, we just want to be like Abigail and make everyone smile.

No matter which one you are today, you’re doing a great job taking care of your inner spirit!
