Planets and Fireflies - taken at one of my favorite spots in Giles County, Va.

Venus and Jupiter have been sharing the spotlight for the past week and have been getting closer and closer to each other and as fortune would have it they lined up perfectly with my favorite tree while fireflies were out in number.

Occasionally I get the wonderful privilege to photograph special milestones and on Sunday I got to capture a special celebration for Pembroke's Mary Lois Williams who celebrated her 90th birthday! Though I am sure she wouldn't remember me, I definitely remember her as a teacher's aide when I was a five year old at Eastern Elementary.
