Cannonball Clay cannonball clay: handcrafted southern ceramics by chris cannon in peachtree corners, georgia

I make thousands of tiny village houses every year, but no two are ever exactly alike.

Each one begins with the same block of clay and passes through my hands at least 12 times. I cut, shape, finish, fire, and glaze every little house until it becomes something completely its own.

People are a lot like that. We may begin with the same basic ingredients, but each of us is shaped into someone beautifully individual. And none of us became who we are alone.

Remember the people who helped shape you.

Remember your village. ๐Ÿ

Why do I make clocks out of clay? Because my time was running out. ๐Ÿƒ๐Ÿ•ฐ๏ธ

For a long time, I chased a version of success that looked good from the outside but never really felt like mine. I was watching time pass instead of truly living it.

In 2020, I decided to change that.

Ceramics became a way to slow down, work with my hands, and make something tangible out of the chaos. The clocks came naturally from that journey. Each one is a little reminder that our time is ours to shape, and that slowing down doesnโ€™t mean standing still.

Thatโ€™s why I make ceramic clocks.
