Get ready to leap into the enchanting world of the Nutcracker Ballet, a mesmerizing experience that captures the essence of the holiday spirit! We invite you to be part of South Atlanta's only professional production, brought to life by Georgia Dance Theatre in collaboration with Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts.

🎉Congratulations to Sophie Leedy! Sophie will be joining the Savannah Ballet Theatre as a Trainee to their professional company for the 2025-2026 season! She started her dance training at the age of 14 as a teen ballet student with Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts and progressed through pre-Professional and Conservatory levels. For six seasons, she has been a scholarship student with Georgia Dance Theatre. In addition, Ms. Leedy has served as an assistant Dance Educator for the Academy. She has been a scholarship recipient and a Residential Counselor with the Sarasota Ballet and recently spent the summer as a Chaperone for the Nashville Ballet Summer Intensives. In 2024, Ms. Leedy received the Master Works Student Choreographer award for her original piece "Complexite de la Vie." She is also a background actor and has appeared in films such as "The Bondsman," "Sweet Magnolias," and "It’s Not Like That."

Isabelle attended Cincinnati Ballet summer intensive!
Isabelle receives her classical and contemporary training from Georgia Academy of Dance & the Performing Arts where she began her training at the age of 3. Isabelle is a Senior scholarship member of Georgia Dance Theatre performing company and a Conservatory student of the Academy. Isabelle is also a part of the Fayette County BOE and GAD mentorship programs in dance education!
