Bobby Kemp Sr. Heritage Festival This Festival is in Memory of Bobby Kemp Sr. He devoted 45 years on the Paxton City Council. Was the Oldest licensed EMT when he passed in 2021.

Scholarships are given in his memory.

Celebrating year 5 September 12, 2026 opening ceremonies begin at 9:00 am at the Paxton Ag Center!

The BK Committee are excited to announce that Ms. Ember Newsom will be performing our National Anthem at this year’s Bobby Kemp Sr. Heritage Festival!

If you’ve never had the opportunity to hear her sing, you’re in for a treat. Her beautiful voice and heartfelt performance are sure to make this a memorable moment as we kick off a day of celebrating community, heritage, and honoring the legacy of Bobby Kemp Sr.
