We had such a great time performing Sunday, April 19, at The Guild in Pawtucket, for the sold-out fundraiser in support of independent journalist Steve Ahlquist.

The afternoon was filled with community spirit and conversation about the importance of independent journalism and Steve’s tireless commitment to delivering it.

We’re proud to lend our voices in support of the important work Steve does to keep our community informed, engaged, and accountable. Independent journalism like his makes a real difference, and it was inspiring to be in a room full of people who recognize and value that.

Grateful for everyone who showed up and helped make it such a meaningful event.

If you haven’t already, you can stay informed and support Steve by subscribing to his Substack at . Win, win! 💜

Last night, the Raging Grannies had the joy of attending opening night of SUFFS at Providence Performing Arts Center, and we are still buzzing!

Watching the story of women who refused to be silent, who sang, marched, argued, organized, and persisted, reminded us exactly why we do what we do. The music, the courage, and the fierce belief that ordinary voices can create extraordinary change landed deep in our bones.

SUFFS didn’t just tell history—it mirrored our present. It affirmed that singing for social justice isn’t quaint or symbolic. It’s powerful. It’s necessary. And it’s part of a long, brave lineage of women using their voices to demand a more just world.

We left the theater more committed than ever to “keep marching” by raising our voices joyfully, stubbornly, and together—for peace, equality, and human dignity.

Shout out to the fantastic ticket office team for graciously welcoming us on the marquee! 💜

The Grannies were very proud to perform at the January 10th grand opening of The Alcove, Rhode Island’s first feminist cultural center. This beautiful space is a haven for women and gender expansive people to connect, recharge, and celebrate. Such a wonderful addition to our state!

Congrats to our very own Jodi Glass, who has received the Norman G. Orodenker Peacemaker Award from the RI Commission on Prejudice & Bias. The ceremony, held Jan. 13 in the House Lounge at the RI Statehouse, was packed with state leaders, elected officials, community organizers, and friends, who also presented her with a handful of citations recognizing her more than four decades of tireless work on behalf of Rhode Islanders. The Grannies were thrilled to perform a fitting song, “Hey Neighbor” in her honor.

Brava, Jodi! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
