Burbage Theatre Co begins its 15th Season with William Shakespeare’s “Much Ado About Nothing,” directed by Trinity Repertory Company member Stephen Thorne.
Shakespeare’s sparkling comedy of love, wit, deception, and second chances follows the sharp-tongued Beatrice and Benedick as they spar in a battle of wits, while the young lovers Hero and Claudio find their relationship threatened by deception and carefully guarded reputations. Funny, fun, fierce, and fleet, “Much Ado About Nothing” brings one of Shakespeare’s great comedies to the Burbage stage with an ensemble of sixteen artists.

“Much Ado About Nothing” runs September 17–October 11 at Burbage Theatre Co’s Wendy Overly Studio Theatre, 59 Blackstone Avenue, Pawtucket, RI. Performances are Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays at 7:30pm and Sundays at 2:00pm. September 17 and 18 are $15 Preview Performances. September 19 is Opening Night/Pay-What-You-Will.
