Through music, movement, rhythm, and storytelling, From Free to Freedom brings history to lifeā€”honoring the strength, humanity, and unbroken spirit of those who endured while celebrating the enduring fire for freedom.

As America celebrates the 250th anniversary of the signing of The Declaration of
Independence it's more important than ever that we acknowledge the lived experiences
of the people who shaped the nationā€™s history and cultural landscape. From Free to
Freedom is an exciting 75-minute show that uses music, dance, and storytelling to
trace the journey of African people from freedom in their homelands, through bo***ge,
and back to freedom again. It is both Black history and American historyā€”but more
importantly, it is a spirit-lifting celebration of creative survival and the power of the
human spirit.
