Hello, friends!

About two years ago, I embarked on an incredible journey to film a documentary in Pawleys Island titled, Resilience: I Will Drag! I had the honor of gaining unprecedented access to my dear friend Daniel Sellers, who shares his life as a Drag Queen, allowing me and my film crew to document his transformation into Felicia Monet.

The film features interviews with various Drag Queens, sharing their personal experiences, alongside insights from audience members, venue owners, and a DJ. This multi-faceted approach aims to capture the vibrant essence of drag culture within a small Southern community, highlighting themes of love, acceptance, and resilience.

I’m excited to announce that we will have our world premiere on Friday, June 13, at Local Eat Drink Celebrate. Tickets are available for $15, but seating is limited! The screening will begin at 8 PM, so why not enjoy a delightful dinner at Local beforehand? Reservations for dinner are highly recommended.
