G Force Engineering LLC

G Force Engineering LLC G Force's services:
1. Electroplating
2. 3-D Printing

Electroplate- coating metals with gold, silver, etc.

3-D Printing- prototype manufacturing.

G Force Engineering LLC utilizes the prototype manufacturing process, which swiftly evolves an idea into a tangible and working item, so that the client can go to a manufacturer with their newly designed prototype and strike a deal for manufacturing a mass amount of the product to be sold to retail stores (Walmart, Target, Sears, ect.). First, the client has a sit-down meeting with our Computer CA

D-Designer, who then takes all information and formulates it into a 3-D structure within a computer program. Once the information is formulated, our 3-D Printer Technician will manufacture prototypes of the invention until the final prototype is achieved. After the final prototype is approved by the client, the client has the option to decease work with G Force and target manufacturers on their own, or continue to work with G Force and G Force will aid in finding manufactures willing to pursue the adventure. We also provide an Electroplating Service for anyone that wants their metal items to be coated with Gold, Rose Gold, Silver, Nickle, and other types of precious metals. Examples:Automotive Parts, Door K***s, Gun Parts (must be dissembled upon delivery), Jewelry, Statues, Trophies, and More.

Yesterday, G-Force restored an antique brass door k**b. This door k**b went through many hurricanes, including Katrina, and became tarnished and pitted over time. First, we prepped the door k**b with some toluene and acetone to get rid of any impurities on the surface of the metal. Then we tapped off the area with masking tape, so that the door would not be scuffed while being sanded and polished. After sanding and polishing, we used Mother's Mag Polishing Compound to preserve the surface of the metal from tarnishing as quickly.

For the last couple of days, I have been searching for an inexpensive "Bowie" knife to gold plate. I think I finally found one that will come out looking good.

Things to look for:
-pitting, scratches, glazings/coatings, and other abnormalities to metal.

It is important to confirm that the grade of steel, or metal being gold plated, is in it's best condition possible. If the composition of the metal is poor, the gold may appear cloudy. Basically, don't expect a $3.99 pocket knife to look like a $20-$40 pocket/Bowie knife. The gold will only look as good as the metal looks before plating, so if you want to have a mirror finish, the metal must be polished until the mirror-like reflection is desired.

I just wanted to let everyone know what I'm working on, and what to look for while trying to decide what to gold plate.
