Almost 1000 days ago, our truck blew up on the way to pick up GOTTA GOOD HABIT who was 18 hours away from us. We were stranded in the middle of nowhere with our trailer and a blown up truck. An amazing friend, Bruce Norwood, drove 5 hours to get us and our blown up truck. When we got home, we picked up my vehicle, turned around and headed back to pick up our trailer (left sitting in a parking lot) and to buy a new truck. The one good thing going for us at this point was that we found a truck that was perfect and a car dealership, Texas Motorcars, that was wonderful to work with.
But, as if enough bad luck hadn't already occurred, as soon as we buy the new truck, a freak hail storm hits outside the car dealership right as we're about to leave. My car was parked outside. I'll never forget that as soon as the hail hit, the staff grabbed the keys to my personal vehicle and pulled it onto their sales floor while they were moving their own cars. That was just one of the really great things that they did to make what was such a horrible situation into a good experience.
Today, JJ, at Texas Motorcars called and left my husband a voicemail just to check and see how we were doing and how our horse business was doing. Not only is the truck doing great and has done all the farm things that you could ever ask of a truck, but it's maintained it's original purchase price. They may be 5 hours from us, but we certainly won't ever buy a truck from anyone else if I have anything to do with it.
