This classic play with a total female cast was originally performed on Broadway in 1936, with Broadway revivals in 1973 and 2001. Films based on the play were released in 1939, directed by George Cukor, and in 2008, directed by Diane English (of “Murphy Brown” fame). The story revolves around a group of female friends, a number of whom have wandering husbands. There are certainly classic “catty” moments in the script, but we would like to stress the supportive sisterhood of women in this production. Their love for each other is what pulls these women through.
Theatre in the Pass is a member organization of Pass Christian Main Street.

Rehearsals are Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Fridays 6-9pm at the Randolph Center in the Pass.
Show dates are March 2,3,4,5 and March 9,10,11,12.

All of the theatre communities on the Gulf Cost lost a great friend with the passing of Richard Benton this week. RIchard was a wonderful actor, a talented writer, and a graceful friend. His funeral is Monday in Gulfport. All of our prayers to Kay and the family during this time of trial.
