Heres your daily report of troubles in the city
Pasco Police Department – Crime Report
Here is what your Pasco PD has been doing just in the last two weeks. Guns, Drugs, Arrests, and Detective work!
24-044226 – DUI/Resisting Arrest :
Officer Brown spotted what looked like a DUI at Road 68. The driver, Fernando De La Cruz Tapia, thought he could play a game of hide-and-seek by parking in a cul-de-sac and claiming he was safe at home. Spoiler: This isn’t baseball, and he wasn’t safe. After some window-breaking persuasion, Fernando was taken in for DUI, resisting arrest, and other fun charges.
24-044186 - Narcotics Bust:
Officer D'Aquila was on a roll, stopping two guys at 8th and Clark. One of them, Jovani Mendizaval-Morales, thought he could pull off the “it’s just for personal use” excuse when caught with hundreds of fentanyl pills. Officer D’Aquila wasn’t buying it and booked him for trying to be a mini drug lord. By the way Officer “DQ” just spent 5 years on a DEA task force…he might know just a bit about narcotics.
24-043387 - Burglary at a local business:
Some early birds decided to break into local sports business around 3 a.m. and help themselves to vehicles worth over $40,000. They even used fire extinguishers to hide from the cameras. Later, one of the stolen bikes was spotted in a pickup truck, and Officer Kissack was on the case. Officer Cristelli was able to locate the vehicle at an address on 22nd Ave. Officer Dillsworth then came in to close it out with Graveyard shift. Long story short……Containment, SWAT, Warrant, Recovered Property and Arrest …..Multiple arrests after Detectives came in to get more in depth.
24-042965 - Arson Arrest:
Officer Crawford investigated a suspicious roommate who smelled like gas after trying to set a car on fire. The suspect didn’t get far before Officer Crawford got a confession, recovered the evidence, and figured out the motive. Nice try but you’re not getting away with that one!
24-042815 - Warrant Arrest at the Tahitian Inn:
Officer Santiago hit the jackpot at the Tahitian Inn, arresting Anthony James Birden and his companion Nicole Cheri Mayberry for outstanding warrants. They were seen roaming the property, and it turns out they were up to no good. The officer’s K9 partner even had a sniff.
24-042683 - Another Narcotics Bust:
Officer D’Aquila strikes again! During a traffic stop, he found over 50+ fentanyl pills on the driver, adding another narcotics case to his belt. This guy is on fire!
24-039063 - Assault 1st Suspect Arrested:
Officers Peoples and Swanson tracked down suspect, Emiselio Perez-Mendez, wanted for Assault 1st, and took him into custody without a hitch. Another one bites the dust!
24-042433 - Assault 2 with Improvised Weapons:
Peeps and Swanson …that sounds catchy…sitcom? Anyways these Officers were at it again. Suspect, Sykeo Inthisane, went medieval, attacking two people with a large pole/stick and even had a trailer ball wrapped in a bandana as a backup weapon. He’s now in custody, and if you see him with anything that can be swung or thrown, let us know!
24-042482 - Unlawful Possession of a Firearm & Assault
Officer D’Aquila was patrolling after some recent burglaries and stopped a suspicious truck. Inside, he found a distraught female passenger and an AR-style rifle. The driver, Ricardo Arroyos, decided to add to his rap sheet by assaulting the female and carrying an illegal firearm. He’s now enjoying some quality time in custody. Nice catch, Officer DQ!
