🎭 Talent gets you in the room. Knowing the business helps you build a career. The business of show business? Consider it part of the craft!

On October 11, aspiring teen actors can get an insider’s look at The Business of Show Business with Broadway actor Jared Gertner (The Book of Mormon, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee).

Whether they’re preparing for their first professional audition or dreaming of a future on Broadway, students will leave with real-world knowledge, greater confidence, and a clearer understanding of what it means to work as a performer.

This practical, discussion-based workshop goes beyond the audition room. Students will explore:
✨ Audition etiquette & professional communication
✨ How to navigate meetings and the professional world
✨ What makes someone a great company member
✨ The basics of unions and contracts
✨ Industry best practices for building a sustainable career
