More than just a theatre show. This is a call to action.
On Nov 8, the backlot at becomes the beating heart of LA: local treats, music, dance, poetry, immersive technology, and the voices of a generation that refuses to be silenced.
Written and performed by LA’s own youth, LIVE FROM LA! is raw, unapologetic, and timely. A story of a neighborhood rising up, speaking truth to power, and reclaiming its own narrative.

If you’ve seen (and if you haven’t, stop reading and come back after the credits!) you know the staggering beauty of turning pain into purpose. That’s why we’re shouting it from the rooftops—this film HITS DIFFERENT. 🙌 At , we always see that magic through our Voices From Inside program. We roll up to LA’s juvenile halls and detention centers, breaking out the improv games, playwriting drills, and all the theater kid chaos you can imagine. But here’s the kicker—it’s not just about performance. It’s about creating spaces for incarcerated youth to embrace the power of their stories and voices.

⏩ 𝗧𝗛𝗔𝗧'𝗦 𝗪𝗛𝗬 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗙𝗘𝗘𝗟𝗦 𝗦𝗢 𝗣𝗘𝗥𝗦𝗢𝗡𝗔𝗟. and dug deep into the realness of incarceration and turned it into something beautiful—a stage where dignity and humanity get a starring role. Casting formerly incarcerated individuals and repping voices that often get drowned out is not bold—it’s NECESSARY. It’s giving empowerment. It’s giving truth. It’s giving COMMUNITY.
