Time to redo all my predrawn tattoo designs. For latest ones, my IG will be still the best place to see them (I will eventually update my website). If you are curious about my rates, I do have them listed on my website.

But I am always happy discussing tattoo designs so feel free to send me an email.

PART TWO to making costumes in order to avoid doom scrolling.

Now my love for costuming has extended to group crafting events among friends. Being an adult is interesting; in a way a weird redo of your childhoods wildest fantasies.

We’ll see if I might re-do this outfit so something more complex.

Happy to share this ridiculous journey.

I have cut down on tattoo travel but today me and the cats left for a tattoo tour.

To remove this heavy of a black tattoo could take 2-4years! Laser sessions are often done every 2 months. And for something this heavy and black, you might need 10 sessions to get to “medium grey” and 20 session to fully remove the tattoo. Timewise this means up to 40 months.

I have now done two layers of white ink and you can see how much the darkness has soften up. In no means will this be a perfect coverup due to the design concept, but it will be much more blended once everything heals and the final pieces of the tattoo are added.

If you have a tattoo you would like to cover up, feel free to reach out to me.

Wrap around upper arm cobra from 2025. There are multiple different ways to illustrate the texture of scales. Depending on the species of snakes, scales come in variety of smoothers and light reflection.

Smooth scales are often seen in pythons and boas. They are even, flat, easily reflect light and often do not have a clear “edge definition”.

Keeled scales have a more aggressive look due to the formation of raised ridge in the middle of the scale. This allows the snake grip to rough terrain. A good example of these kinds of scales can be found on vipers.

Granular scales are small, bumpy and no not overlap. Altho the shape of the scale varies significantly, with the elephant trunk snake having dense small grid versus the cobra having more larger and easily defined grid.

How you choose to illustrate a scale can tell a lot about the species you are tattooing. Its habitats and evolutionary route to get there.

A while back I realized I had a problem doom scrolling. I would sit hours in the evening “decompressing”. I needed something else to distract myself so I started making costumes.

I wouldn’t call myself a cosplayer, not by a long shot, but I would call my self a person who loves crafting and finding unusual fun events. Last year I attended the Wasteland Weekend solo. For me it felt like the best way to take in the event and force myself to meet new people. I cant wait to go back this year, with more advanced “costumes”. Costumes that have saved my mental health from endless pit of scrolling.

Healed horse tattoo from 2024

This design was one of my pre-drawn designs and took me 2 days (back-to-back) to tattoo.

I love combining realism with hints from historic illustration types such as dry needle etching and anatomy pencil studies.

My client requested the ancient Roman goddess Juturna. She wanted to represent her by having a vase with dripping water.

I appreciate my clients that allow me to add my own flare of surrealism to my designs. This design is a perfect example of client having specific ideas mixed with artistic freedom of the tattooer.

3 days back to back.

If you like this tattoo, I have 2 predrawns available in similar theme.
