In a time where so many people are carrying stress, exhaustion, loneliness, uncertainty, or emotional overwhelm, we believe spaces of authentic human connection matter more than ever.

This evening is an opportunity to slow down together.

To breathe together.
To share food together.
To listen deeply.
To reconnect with ourselves, one another, and what truly matters.

The evening will begin with a community potluck at 6:00 PM PST, followed by a live and interactive conversation with Pastor Peter, Winnie Chan Wang, and Jay Dubois centered on healing, compassion, presence, and the deeper ways we support one another through life’s challenges and transitions.

Guests are welcome to attend in person or join us online via Zoom, Facebook Live, or YouTube Live.

Sometimes what we carry doesn’t need more thinking.
It needs movement.

In this practice, Winnie guides the group to close their eyes, bounce, and let the body speak. Anger, fear, grief, heaviness—whatever has been trapped inside the lungs, digestion, shoulders, ribs, hips, knees, or ankles—is invited to move.

✨ No performance.
✨ No judgment.
✨ Just the body releasing what it’s ready to let go.

When emotions stay inside too long, they can become tension.

But when we move with awareness, the body begins to clear what the mind may not know how to process.

So bounce. Shake. Breathe.

When comfort becomes the pattern, polarity begins to fade.
More men are staying in the safety of the familiar.
More women are carrying the weight of providing, deciding, and holding everything together.
And slowly, the natural dance between masculine and feminine begins to lose its rhythm.

This is an invitation to return to balance.
For men to rise with presence.
For women to soften from fullness.

For both to remember that polarity is sacred when it is held with love, respect, and devotion.

We are built for connection.
From mirror neurons to language, our bodies and brains evolved to help us feel one another, understand one another, and move through life together.
✨ Emotions can spread.
✨ Presence can be felt.
✨ Even something as simple as a yawn reminds us how deeply connected we are.

Human beings were never meant to live in isolation. We are wired to communicate, cooperate, and share meaning with each other—sometimes through words, sometimes through energy, sometimes through simply being near one another.

At Heart Center LA, we practice returning to this truth:
