Both a wonderful book and story that translated well into a movie starry Jermey Irons. Told in one of my favorite cities, it weaves a tale of love and mystery across time. I enjoy the spaces between lines, pauses to collect what’s being said and the direction shines here in that regard.

Going to film this event today for a wonderful non-profit, been awhile since last one but dusted off the cameras and we are ready to go!

This event is the best! Not only can one sample awesome food and wine/beer with the backdrop of wonderful entertainment, but at the same time help a very go...

9-11
A fire ripped
open the sky,
scorching
the hearts
of the world.
Stunned
in silence
we watched,
not believing,
unable to
grasp
what lay
in the ruins.
Something great
was lost,
indefinable,
ineffable,
far beyond
the destruction
and death,..an ideal.
A page turned,
a chapter ended,
the new one
too painful
for the story;
marching
forward we took
backwards steps,
trying to force
redemption
while sifting for
closure
in dust that
could never settle.
There was
nothing
that could begin
to replace
what was taken
right before
our eyes,
and in the
moment
we blinked,
the last
remains of our
innocence
was stolen away.

Salute to this fascinating work that brilliantly gives a glimpse into the world of someone suffering from an age-related brain disorder. One of Hopkins finest performances and sure to land him a well deserved Oscar!
