ACX Teens & Kids

Serving as a gateway to the ArtCenter College of Design's degree programs, ArtCenter Extension (ACX) offers a range of hands-on courses for everything from advertising to zine-making. Due to the complications of COVID-19, we are offering 100% of our courses online via Zoom and InsideArtCenter.edu for Summer 2020.

Our dedicated faculty of practicing artists and designers work in the fields in which they team. Mostly alumni from ArtCenter College’s undergraduate and graduate programs, they bring real-world experience into a classroom. Students have the chance to get to know one another through group critiques and paired-up “chat rooms.”

For ACX Kids, we offer classes to students in grades 4-8 (approximate age 9-13) in creativity, innovation and visual literacy. For ACX Teens, we offer classes in grades 9-12 (approximate age 13-18) in more than a dozen visual disciplines. Scholarship deadlines in May, June and July 2020.
