Arroyo Afternoon

This image is a small pastel (around 9" x 12") I did recently from an old photo of the Pasadena arroyo looking from the western rim. My family's house was close by, so I just walked to the location. I have done pictures from this area quite a few times and love the color effects of different times of day.

Technically, I used Prismacolor hard pastels on a new, thinner paper for me - Winsor and Newton.
