Why weren’t we at Climate Week? We were deploying nearly 40 temporary mobile power systems across California!⚡

At Portola, we deployed 35 systems, 34 of them 100% diesel-free. Our Navy Cube powered the Ship Tent as part of a hybrid-diesel system that saved thousands of gallons of diesel. Across the deployment, power was 99% emissions-free.

Thank you to AEG Presents , Goldenvoice , and Portola for working with us to put cleaner event power into action. 🔋🎶

We were thrilled to bring two Leyden Power Navy Tanks to Outside Lands 2026, hybridizing generator power at Golden Gate Park.

In partnership with Another Planet Entertainment and Superfly , this pilot delivered 3,334 kWh of battery-supported energy during the event, avoiding an estimated 570 gallons of diesel and 5.8 metric tons of CO₂e compared with an all-generator setup. With zero grid power available on site, the deployment achieved a 78% diesel-free energy solution.

This is a practical example of how battery energy storage can reduce generator fuel use and emissions while supporting reliable power at large-scale live events.

Thank you to the Another Planet Entertainment, Superfly, and Outside Lands teams, along with everyone who helped bring this pilot to life. We are proud to support cleaner energy solutions for live events.

“Free power, free coffee, free fun.” 🎶

We wrote a little song about the weekend our solar panels (with a boost from a Rivian truck) made everyone’s espresso. Turn it up. The future’s here, it’s smooth, it’s sweet, and it runs on sunshine.

Sound on. Sun up. With love, from us and Rivian at Festival Napa Valley. ☀️

Coffee, brewed on sunshine. ☀️☕

For Festival Napa Valley, we teamed up with Rivian to power up their cheerful coffee trailer at The Meritage Resort. It ran mostly on Overdrive solar and batteries, plus a charge from a Rivian truck. Zero gas engines. Zero fumes anywhere near your latte.

The espresso machine never noticed the difference. The planet did.

Powered by good energy. ⚡

Diesel prices are higher than ever and making headlines. While road-going diesel prices do not directly reflect the fuel pricing used for temporary event power, reducing generator runtime can still materially reduce event fuel spend, noise, exhaust, and operational complexity.

To highlight just a few events we have worked on this year:
- 90%+ diesel reduction at New Year’s at Petco Park
- 100% diesel reduction at Z-Trip
- 75%+ diesel reduction at WeHo Pride
- 86% diesel reduction at Festival Napa Valley
- 78% diesel reduction at Outside Lands

Across a festival, battery-first power have saved up to $50,000 in fuel costs. Overdrive Energy Solutions has proven that events can eliminate diesel entirely or significantly reduce the diesel needed while maintaining reliable temporary power. If you want to reduce your event’s diesel usage, reach out to Overdrive Energy Solutions.

A sound check, in two parts. 🎹

The band: lively, happy, and loud.

The power source 1 foot away: absolutely nothing.
That’s the point. Batteries let the music stand alone, whether it’s an opera at a w**ery or a piano on a bike path.

Powered by good energy.⚡

Music moves you. Clean energy moves us. 🎶

Festival Napa Valley brought Jealous Zelig to the Vine Trail, and we brought batteries quiet enough to sit right beside the band. No engine hum in the mix, no barrier between the music and the people dancing to it.
The only things in the air: jazz, friendly chatter, and some truly inspired dance moves.

Power to the party. Every kind of party. ⚡

As clean as can bee. 🐝

Spotted at the Arts for All Gala: one honeybee, several flowers, and a big beautiful battery powering the whole thing behind the scenes.

No fumes in the flowers. No rumble in the vines. Just a battery doing its job so beautifully the pollinators moved in next door.

How do you power a gala in w**e country? Quietly. 🌻

At Nickel & Nickel Winery, our Leyden Power Navy Cube ran the Arts for All Gala on a hybrid setup: w**ery power flowed in steadily, the battery carried everything else, and the backup generator only turned on in short bursts. The engine stayed off 86% of the week.

73% less diesel than the old way. ~800 gallons and ~8 MTCO₂e skipped.

Same power. Fraction of the fuel. The flowers and bees loved it. The attendees never heard a thing. The loudest part of the night was the applause.⚡

“Believe in nature. All is full of love.” 🌿

When Renée Fleming’s voice filled the Napa sky, nothing ran but batteries, grid power, and sunlight. No engines. No fumes. Nothing between the music and clean w**e country air.

That’s how you power a love letter to nature. 100% diesel-free.
