The object of this Council is to stimulate interest in public recreation.
* To formulate policies, advise, recommend, promote and maintain public recreation affairs in this community in cooperation with the Baltimore County Board of Recreation and Parks and the Baltimore County Board of Education, in accordance with the laws and agreements governing public recreation in Baltimore County and the St

ate of Maryland.
* To cooperate with local organizations interested in promoting and furthering the cause of recreation.
* To build the public recreation program in and about public school grounds, parks and facilities, and to identify that program with any organization, public or private, which promotes the public welfare, education, family relations, prevention of juvenile delinquency and vandalism, and in general work with these groups to lessen the burdens of local government.
* To offer leadership in coordinating and correlating all recreation activities of a similar nature in the community in order to obtain a maximum benefit for the citizens of this community.
* To conduct a public recreation program making use of the physical properties available in the Parkville area, and to provide for all citizens regardless of race, religion, gender, mental or physical disabilities, creed, personal beliefs, or national origin.
* To solicit the aid of existing organizations for the accomplishment of this purpose.

The Danzations of Parkville invites you to join them for their upcoming dance year. Registration is and classes will fill quickly!

The mission of the Danzations is to provide quality dance instruction and instill an appreciation for the art of dance. Students of all ages and skill levels will be encouraged to excel and to reach their fullest potential all while having fun!

The Danzations is a well establish dance program in the Parkville area that has offered high quality instruction for over 25 years at Parkville Recreation Council.

We offer dance classes for ages 3-adult. Classes include:
* Creative Movement- 3 year olds
* Ballet- 4 year old and up
* Tap- 4 year olds and up
* Jazz- 5 year olds and up
* Contemporary- 8 year olds and up
* Hip Hop- 7 year olds and up
* Adult classes in Hip Hop and Jazz

* Danzations Troupe! Join the troupe and be able to represent the Danzations in the community through different performances. (For ages 8 and up)

All classes are held at Parkville Recreation Council on Mondays (8-11 year olds), Thursdays (Middle School age and up) and Saturdays (3-7 year olds).

We have a talented, educated and experienced staff who are excited to share their love of dance with all those who join the Danzations family.
