For nearly 100 years the Smoot Theatre has opened its doors to the people of the Mid-Ohio Valley. From Vaudeville to decades of movies to its rebirth as a live performance venue, the Smoot has been a cornerstone of Downtown Parkersburg. As a non-profit, today we not only entertain but we educate as well. Our youth choirs, summer camps and free jazz performances by our House Band strive to provide activities for the community that can't be found anywhere else.

Please take a moment today to make a donation of any amount to keep the doors of this unique institution open. We face ongoing financial stress from maintaining this historic theatre, increasing programming costs and a decrease in funding from outside sources. It's donors like you that will keep the Smoot alive for future generations. We appreciate you and your support – Thank You!
