Today, we recognize Women’s Veterans Day and honor the women who have served our country with courage, dedication, and sacrifice.

Observed on June 12, Women’s Veterans Day commemorates the signing of the Women’s Armed Services Integration Act in 1948, which allowed women to serve as permanent, regular members of the U.S. Armed Forces.

At Guitars for Vets, we are grateful for the women Veterans in our program, our volunteers, instructors, coordinators, and supporters who help make our mission possible every day.

To all women who have served: thank you for your service and for the impact you continue to make in your communities.

We will be having a Baptismal class on Saturday, June 27 @ 9am-12:00 noon. I believe the lesson will reach the young who can understand the grace of salvation and new birth. We do not Baptise babies.

Sharing info from First Peoples Fund on their Native Performing Arts Fellowship's $10,000 grant opportunity. This yearlong fellowship provides funding for Native individuals who practice or work within the performing arts landscape such as theater, dance, music, etc.
