Turner County Fair Details/Updates on South Dakota's oldest county fair The Four Best Days of Summer are August 14-17, 2023.

The oldest fair in South Dakota, the Turner County Fair features a free gate, the best fair food around, free entertainment in Heritage Park, 4-H livestock and static exhibits, an Ag Education Center, and nightly races in the grandstand. Honoring the Hero’s who sacrificed everything for the freedoms we enjoy today.

The flagpole at the heart of the Turner County Fairgrounds stands as a quiet symbol of respect, honor, remembrance and reflection where we honor those who came before us. At its heart, the flagpole serves as a powerful symbol of gratitude for veterans and loved ones.

Today, that symbol needs your help. We are working toward a goal of replacing the existing flagpole to ensure the flag continues to fly proudly above the Turner County Fairgrounds. If you are able to assist with a donation, that help would be greatly appreciated. Please contact the fair office for more information.
