Final Art Encounters Installation Alert! 👏

Introducing Let It Be or SISU by artist Sandy Friedman, the final installation in the 2026/2027 Art Encounters season. Located at Mainstreet and Pine Curve, just north of Town Hall, this striking welded steel sculpture features a kinetic upper element that spins with the wind, bringing movement and energy to the landscape.

Inspired by both the timeless message of the Beatles’ “Let It Be” and the Finnish concept of SISU—a powerful expression of determination, resilience, and perseverance—the sculpture invites viewers to reflect on how we navigate an ever-changing world. Whether you choose to “let it be” or embrace the spirit of SISU, the piece offers a meaningful reminder of strength in the face of adversity.

Be sure to stop by, experience the sculpture in motion, and welcome this inspiring new work to our community.

Special thanks to our friends at Parker Parks and Recreation for their installation help! This was a big installation that needed large equipment.

🎨 Art Encounters is a year-long outdoor sculpture exhibit featuring diverse works in a variety of styles and materials, displayed throughout Parker and neighboring communities. Designed to spark interest in public art, build community pride, and enhance local spaces, the exhibit also offers all pieces for sale to the public.

It’s complete! 🎨

Downtown Parker’s first mural is officially finished, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with the community.

Created by the incredibly talented Graham Carraway of J. Graham Studios, this vibrant new mural now welcomes residents and visitors at the entrance to downtown Parker. The project was made possible through a partnership between Parker Arts, P3 - Partnering for Parker's Progress (Parker’s Urban Renewal Authority), and building owners Tony and Shelli Mango.

Check out the timeline video to see the mural come to life from start to finish, then make plans to visit downtown Parker and experience it in person. We hope this new public artwork inspires connection, creativity, and community pride for years to come.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped bring this vision to life. Welcome to downtown Parker's newest landmark! 👋
