In February we put down our Shepherd Koty at 13 years old. She was such a good girl, and we miss her terribly.
We have been trying to find a rescue that needed us to help another shepherd.
By the time we did all the paperwork and had our house reviewed the one we wanted was already adopted.
Do any of you have a suggestion? Or, know of one that is in need of adopting?

Did you know that Tom makes "unpainted" spearing decoys? Set of 4 is $60 plus shipping. You can order on our Etsy site or contact us also. Many customers have had fun painting their own.

20 years ago Tom made a Sunflower out of an old metal shower from the "dump". When he retired he started making them again along with many changes learned along the way. Denise does the painting. We now have lots more items to choose from.

We have a new product thanks to a gramma in Walker that wanted it. It is a triple sunflower on one stake. We have done them all different colors but could do them all the same also. Since Denise paints each one separately you could have any color you want. It stands about 36" high. $75

As with everything else, the price of steel has gone up since January when we bought it for the first time in 2021. The last time we picked it up it had doubled already. We are trying not to change prices. But, we know you will all understand if that has to happen. Thanks, Denise and Tom

PS we have not shown the Heron since we were at the farmers market. They look very life-like. A few people have been fooled!!
A rusted one is $75 and the painted one is $100.

Here is another one of our 48" sunflowers that was purchased as a special order. Do you know where this one is hung? I really wanted to see how many friends or family have seen this hanging up. So far, just nice comments. Thanks.

This was a special order 48" sunflower. It goes through the same process as a 17" would only it needs a little more time, paint and space. Do any of you know "where" this one is hanging now?

Have you missed seeing us at the Farmer's Market in Park Rapids. We now sell our flowers on Etsy.com at HafnerMetalWorks. You can also message us and order directly. Etsy just shows product that we are able to ship. The flowers with a stake cannot be shipped but you can pick them up in Park Rapids OR we can deliver for an upcharge. Don't forget - we do custom pieces!!!

Did you know that Tom has been carving decoys for a few years now? He needed something to do in the warm garage on these cold winter days. Attached are pictures of past ones that he has done as collectible decoys that probably won't make it off the mantel and in the water. He would love to do a special order for you or for that favorite spear fisherman in your life.

Tom has been creating this Fall. With the sunflowers put to bed for the winter he came up with these poinsettias. Denise gets to paint them and has done two colors so far. What a great gift for that hard to buy person. They will last a lifetime.
