Imagine you’re in a garden- the sun is just coming up and the foxgloves are welcoming the warmth and drinking in the dew. The hummingbirds flit from flower to flower. I wanted to capture that feeling of abundance and peace. This painting is my way of making the ephemeral eternal. I hope you enjoy it. She will be making her debut appearance at the 135 show, June 6th.

Corvidae fan here 🙋‍♀️ it helps that my last name is literally “Crow”, but I really admire the whole bird family. These are actually ravens, and like other species in the Corvidae family, they are highly intelligent due to the high density of neurons packed in their brains. It’s no wonder they have been inspiring people for centuries, and often considered sacred in many cultures. What’s your favorite bird fact? 🐦‍⬛

Shout out to , they have been so great to work with. You can see this piece in person there.

I’ve got news… I’m thrilled to be represented by ! I grew up visiting their beautiful gallery and it is a dream come true to have my work shown on the very walls I once (and still) admired. This is “Midnight Garden” 36x36. When seen in person, she shimmers. The silver leaf I used behind the painted petals reflects the ambient light in the room, giving it a truly unique effect. One of my favorite paintings I’ve created this year!

I wish you could have seen this piece in person. She was stunning, and found a home this last spring while I was at . This piece “The Future in Her Eyes” was about looking out into the horizon and anticipating coming events. Sometimes what we see out there is good, and sometimes challenging, but I love depicting women who can handle whatever may come.

One of my favorite things I’ve done this year is explore how metal leaf works in my larger pieces. It’s a fun challenge creating art that looks good with or without gallery lighting.
So thrilled that she found her forever home :)

This painting is the start of a new series I’m doing. I’m going for deconstructed modern west approach, where the painting feels like a forgotten photograph. I’m thrilled she found her home with a wonderful client at the last week.

“Horizons Unfolding” triptych
60x60
Oil on Acrylic Glass

This painting is meaningful to me for many reasons. It reminds me of my childhood and lazy evenings watching the sunset. It reminds me how fleeting time is, and what a joy it is to be able to savor the simple things in life. I like the idea that the birds flying through are actually a single bird seen in multiple moments, flying from the past into the present, and into the future. It suggests an endless future of possibilities at the edge of now.

This is a piece about nostalgia, serenity, and the passage of time, and our place in it.

I didn’t have a defined narrative with this piece. For me I wanted to convey a feeling of warmth and peace. Almost like a glimpse of a memory. She’s gathering sunflowers, and looking through the fields. What do you think she thinking about?

It’s almost subconscious how much color I put into my paintings. I know a lot of people like to have beige, brown, or gray art, but for some reason I find so much joy in color. I’ll set out to do a mild, monochromatic painting and before I know it I’ve turned the saturation up to 100. I hope there’s a home out there that loves yellow as much me haha!
This piece will make its debut in Austin at the
