This week marks the one year anniversary of when we opened The Happy Book Stack McKenzie in Mckenzie, TN.

We have enjoyed having many of you take the trip over to see our books, come to our events and enjoy the atmosphere.

Hello Everyone!

I wanted to take some time to introduce myself. I bought the Crown building from Ed with a few of my friends.

I own The Happy Book Stack McKenzie, The Happy Mercantile in Martin, Tn and a few other stores. Ed was actually the inspector I used when I bought the building for our coffee shop in Mckenzie last year. Little did I know that would lead to us getting the opportunity to own this historic building.

We are excited to have Off The Square takeover the downstairs space of the building! I know that they will make that space their own and will make it truly awesome!

We currently have four offices on the second floor that are for rent if you or anyone you know would like to rent those text my number below. I prefer to rent the whole space to one person but feel free to reach out if you are interested in renting one office and we may go that route if I can't rent the whole thing.

From the beginning to the end. Jana and I would like to thank everyone that took part in our journey of restoring this beautiful building. There are to many to mention and memories for a lifetime.
We have sold the building to a wonderful company that will take it and downtown Paris to the next level. Personal thanks to the Downtown Paris Association and the Chamber of Commerce for all the memories they helped build here with us. Thank you to Kathy Ray and Kim Foster for their teams and all they do.
Our decision to sell the building was bases on the new owner’s vision they have for this historical building. We wish them the most sucess and look forward to visiting the new Crown. Follow this page and post as the new owners will introduce themselves shortly.
