Join us on Friday, February 27 at 7:30 PM for our next free Fisk Organ Series recital, featuring acclaimed organist Samuel Metzger. The program includes a selection of solo organ pieces and audience singing of selected hymns. He will also play with the Camelback Choir, directed by Dr. Tom Bookhout, on Gilbert Martin's monumental "When I Survey the Wondrous Cross." Experience this blend of solo and vocal music in Camelback’s acoustically reverberant space. Metzger is Director of Music at Covenant Presbyterian Church (PCA) in Nashville, TN, and is heard regularly around the country in concert. Calling all artists!
Please sign-up for Create-A-Thon (https://camelbackbible.churchcenter.com/registrations/events/3150076)! Create-a-thon is a juried art festival held annually at Camelback Bible Church, and this year it is Feb 27-March 1. It gives artists an opportunity to create based on a given theme. Artists, age 14 and up, are invited to bring their supplies to campus and create an original work in 48 hours based on thematic material given onsite. All visual media and all levels are welcome. The artwork will be juried, and a $1000 Best in Show cash prize, $500 Second Place, and $300 Third Place will be awarded.
