✨ Now that I’ve had a day to rest and reflect on our 2026 recital, my heart is just so full ✨
This year we had two shows that took us through “Dancing Through the Seasons,” and I could not be more proud of our incredible dancers. From our tiniest dancers stepping on the BIG stage for the first time with big smiles to our older dancers shining with confidence and passion, every single student gave their all and made this recital so special.
This year’s recital theme “Dancing Through the Seasons” was definitely one that challenged our teachers to find the perfect music and ideas that truly fit each “season.” But seeing it all come together on stage was absolutely something to experience. From sunny summer fun with pool parties and Fourth of July firecrackers, to spooky fall favorites and football fun, winter magic, Mardi Gras madness, Valentine cuties, and spring blooms, every routine highlighted something special from each season and made the entire show feel so fun, meaningful, and unique.
Thank you to our audience for showing up in the pouring rain to watch our dancer shine on stage! Our dancers appreciated your applause and support throughout the day. 👏🏻
A huge THANK YOU to our amazing teachers and staff for your endless time, creativity, patience, and support. Dance Unlimited of Paradis wouldn’t be the dance family it is without each of you! 💜
Thank you to our dance families for trusting us with your children, cheering them on, and making the commitment to bring them to class every week. Thank you to everyone backstage and those handling all the little details behind the scenes that people may never see — it truly takes a village to make these shows happen. I will never be able to thank the amazing dance moms who helped transform the Lafon Center with all of the beautiful lobby and hallway decorations. Everything look absolutely perfect for our dancers and families. To our incredible “prop dad crew,” thank you for surviving TWO full days of dance life and always being there to move props during rehearsals and recitals without missing a beat. And to top it all off, they even cooked for our girls to make sure they had food to fuel their bodies throughout the long weekend. That kindness and support means more than I could ever put into words. 🖤
Most importantly, thank you to our dancers. Thank you for your hard work, dedication, positive attitudes, and the joy you bring to the studio and stage. Thank you for supporting one another and giving your whole hearts every time you showed up for class and stepped on stage this weekend. You are the reason these shows are so special. Your teachers are so proud of you. 💜 🖤
And lastly, thank you to my mom, dad, and husband Beau for always being there to help me with absolutely anything and everything. Your constant support behind the scenes never goes unnoticed, and grateful you continue to support my dreams.
So many hours of hard work, costume changes, backstage chaos, laughs, memories, and dedication all came together perfectly on Saturday. Watching our students light up on stage reminded me exactly why I love what I do. 🌟
I am beyond grateful for this dance family and already smiling thinking about all the memories we made together this season. Who’s ready to do it all again in one year?! 😆
Love to all,
Ms. Nicole 💜🖤
