Surfs Up - Release August 5. This is an open edition release with a few sizes.

Designed in 2023 from a culmination of flowers from various farms in Colorado.

This will be included as part of our “Black series” which are always so wonderful to make because the colors pop so well on the black.

This was our first employee. Our contract terms were that Ivy, the kitty, allow us to snuggle her at any time during work hours and in return she would get all the food and clean water and outside time she wanted.

Poppies saying goodbye until next year, and bee balm saying good morning. And of course, kitty being kitty.

I pressed about 100+ poppies this season and looking forward to working with them later this year or next year. Can’t wait.

Rachel planted and will continue to plant a ton of plants. We are getting rid of a good chunk of water loving grass and replacing it all with drought tolerant and thriving flowers and other amazing plants.

I’ll be releasing a new print in July called “Surfs Up” to celebrate Summer and all its beautiful colors.

Garden things.

To date, we have ordered 60 yards of mulch. Basically mulching a lot but eventually there will be so many flowers and cover crops that we will just trim all that down and use it as mulch.

Farmers fit is the best kind of fitness. It’s basically constant. High five to all the gardeners and farmers out there.

Wild blue flax, wallflower, poppies, and more wildflowers to come. The simple sounds of the wind, a kitty’s hello, and wild turkeys are so pleasant.

Pressing tip: wild blue flax is easy to press as long as it goes into the press fairly quickly once picked. If not, the petals can wither. I prefer them when the flower stays in tact with the stem.

28 x 35 inch // 71cm x 89cm (limited edition of 65), available until sold out

This is the same size as the original artwork and is hand-embossed.

16 x 20 inch // 41cm x 51cm (open edition), ends May 4th

We began collecting herbs back in 2023 and 3 years later, are very happy to have it out in the world.

Herbs are pretty amazing for so many reasons. They not only taste delicious, but are used for healing as well as a super amazing natural bug repellent for bad insects so they stay out of your flowers and veggies and don’t nest in them.

Love the herbs.

Fun fact: I really liked listening to Enya back in high school. I would listen to her before bed as her music would help me fall sleep. 😴🙂
