Today's featured artist is Sharon Fujimoto. Sharon has shown her beautiful hand-blown molten glass pieces at Paoli Art in the Park in the past. She will be in booth 87.

FEATURED ARTISTS OF THE DAY:

Today's featured artists are Suzanne Miller and Nikki Cooper. Their studio is known as Green Chicks. You've seen their unique art at Paoli Art in the Park before. You will want to visit them in booth 74.5.

They describe their creations as "Whimsical sculpture and wall art made from armatures of plastic bottles, wire, newspaper and tape. These are covered in fabric mache made from recycled sheets and then newspaper clay. Sculpture is finished with acrylic mediums, varnish and found objects. Overall, about 90% recycled."

Today's featured artist is Mike Topper. Mike is a member of the Madison Art Guild and will be in their booth, #7 & 8.

"I have been working with photography for the last 15 years. I am an architect with degrees in Art History, Architecture, and Preservation Studies. This has focused my work on cities and their surrounding landscapes. The scale often varies from large representations of the streets and landscapes to the smaller details in buildings. I think of my photography as a way to interpret and reinterpret the art of the world around us, both natural and human made."

"I, my daughter, and my son handmake all items from 95% Wisconsin Hardwood plus select exotic species. We pride ourselves on seeking out wood with unique and interesting grain and then accentuating the wood's natural beauty with our simple yet elegant designs. Have you ever wondered what is involved in putting on an art fair? This is a great opportunity to find out. Volunteer!

We have a variety of tasks available, everything from booth sitting, handing out water to the artists, or even helping with set up or take down.

If you know a high school student who needs to complete their community service requirement, this is a great chance for them to do so.
