We are always humbled by accolades. They never are taken for granted.
One of the best compliments to us is when the friendship we forged with couples on one of their most important days continues into the future. Working with ( barely as she did almost all of it) this bride from Oct 2025 on an event for the community or having a couple call to host a baby shower where they were married or another couple who will host their baby’s gender reveal where they were married paired with families who have multiple members get married at the venue. Yes, we can ensure it looks different than your sibling’s did. These times warm our hearts more than we can say. We become a part of cherished love stories. The legacy continues as our couples return to celebrate another huge milestone, to create a wonderful event or just to visit to relive one of their most memorable days.

Whether a future bride, or someone looking for a self care day filled with select vendors, a Pilates class outdoors in the autumn air (inside if inclement weather) small bites and photo opportunities, join us on Sunday, October 11, 2026 1:00 pm-4:00 pm.
Stroll the grounds, sit in rockers and enjoy a glass of w**e surrounded by beautiful views. Allow a professional make up artist to give you pointers for your wedding day. Chat with a professional photographer about capturing the memorable moments of your special day.

Fireflies Farm KC is collaborating with KANSAS CITY PILATES CLUB to provide a wonderful day to stop and reset on Sunday, October 11th.
Somerset Ridge Winery will provide a w**e tasting.
Small bites will be included. Venue tours available. Future bride or just needing a day to soak in beautiful views? Vendors will be on hand. Stroll the grounds and soak in the views of rolling meadows, fall colors and wide open spaces. Sit in a swing or surrounded by florals and pumpkins. Raffle tickets will be provided for vendor items and gift certificates. Photo opportunities with Billy and Socks and a floral wall. Looking for a wedding or family photographer? Talk with Bruce Focus & Flow Photography.
Chandlar | Bridal Hair + Makeup KC will be available to answer questions, give tips and provide a quick demo!
A fall DIY station is also included to take home a beautiful arrangement.
Yard games and miniature golf will round out your day.

Wedding days begin early for us. Chuck and I arrive around 6:30 am.
The early mornings give me time to pause and think of the new beginning taking place later in the day. The quiet will give way to excited chatter, laughter and music echoing throughout the venue.
Chuck and I walk to the wedding meadow for a quiet few minutes together on each wedding day.
We pray for every couple to enjoy a long blessed life.
During a recent conversation with another venue owner, it became apparent to me that Chuck and I truly enjoy the process of working with couples and clients.
We are business minded, but do not ever want to get so wrapped up in nickel and diming people that we lose sight of why we chose to build our venue.
The relationships formed, the families who pay the highest compliment in returning with other members getting married at our venue, the camaraderie of team members makes it all worthwhile.
