💃🔥 Y’all absolutely heated up the dance floor last night! 🔥💃

Thank you to everyone who came out and danced all of our new favorites along with the classics we know and love. Your energy, smiles, and enthusiasm make every Tuesday night one to look forward to!

Tammy has really missed dancing with everyone over the last few weeks and can’t wait to be back on the floor with all of you very soon! ❤️🤠 And y’all were lucky to have Teresa teach three weeks in a row! ✨✨✨

🚨 Friendly Reminder: We will NOT be dancing on Tuesday, August 4, as the Panama City Center for the Arts will be hosting an event in the gallery that evening.

In the meantime, keep those boots moving! 👢 Be sure to use our Copperknob dance list to practice and keep all of the dances fresh so we’re ready to hit the ground running.

Let’s Get Rolling, Boots on the Bay Fam! 💃✨

Hey everyone! Ready to take your steps to the next level on the dance floor? We love a classic grapevine, but it’s time to add a little extra magic to your moves!

The Rolling Grapevine (or Rolling Vine) is a beautifully smooth, turning variation of your basic grapevine. Instead of just stepping side-behind-side, you'll be spinning as you move across the floor! 🌪️

If you’re unsure how to add this fun spin to your footwork, don’t panic! We have you covered so you can learn with ease before we meet!

💙👏 Can we give a huge Boots on the Bay shout-out to our favorite BRAT... Bernie Kennedy! 👏💙

Now before anyone gets the wrong idea... in the line dancing world, BRAT stands for Back Row Assistant Teacher! 🤠👢

If you've ever been learning a new dance and looked up wondering, "Which wall are we on now?" or "Wait...what direction do we turn?" chances are Bernie was there to help you get back on track!

Wall leaders like Bernie are an incredibly important part of every line dance class. Since many dances rotate to face different walls throughout the choreography, having experienced dancers in the back of the room gives everyone—especially our newer dancers—a reliable point of reference. Even seasoned dancers sneak a glance back there from time to time! 😉

Bernie quietly helps keep the room moving, encourages new dancers, and makes learning so much easier for everyone. It's one of those behind-the-scenes roles that often goes unnoticed, but it makes a huge difference.
