At first, my new 🖼️ studio seemed super big…everyone thought I would never use all of that space, but…

It didn’t take long to feel almost every inch with brand new paintings!

Join the collector’s club to get first dibs on my art. Link in bio. See you there.

The beauty of Paint itself 🎨 is really important to me as a painter because it celebrates the actual materials going on the canvas and not just the subject matter or idea being conveyed — it’s not trying to persuade anyone by hiding behind something that it’s not….

That’s why I think abstraction is a more logical vehicle for painters because it’s inherently connected to the materials being used the beauty of the paint and the textures of the marks are celebrated for what they are, but not what they’re trying to be….but

I never understood the importance of celebrating the materiality of a painting before an artist that I love actually taught me to see it.

🎨 Has an artist ever taught you to see?

Even on the darkest days, there’s a glow in the depths somewhere.

I'm so proud to announce that I have been honored and selected by a jury for inclusion in a global art publication and show featuring my painting, Underwater Bouquet.

After the Palisades Fire destroyed my home, I threw myself into painting beacons of light to remind me of hope and to beckon me into the next chapter of my own rebirth.

This is one of the underwater series of paintings that represent that incredibly difficult period in my life. It depicts light piercing the dark ocean, shining on some of the colorful urchins that thrive in the murky ocean depths off of California.

My artwork 'Underwater Bouquet' is now being showcased at Life Forms - 2026 exhibition, organized by Gallerium and powered by platform.
