Save the date: Sunday, November 13th, 3pm.

Johannes Brahms' A German Requiem draws from Martin Luther's German translation of the Bible to focus on grief, healing, and solace. Brahms was shaken by Robert Schumann's su***de attempt and death, followed closely by his beloved mother's passing in 1865. The first six movements premiered in Leipzig & Bremen in 1868.
