Happy September, Fluvanna!

September is here, which means the countdown to the 2026 Fluvanna Fall Festival is officially on! 🎃🍎

A few quick reminders as we get closer to October 10:

- Vendors & Food Trucks: If you’ve filled out the Google Form but haven’t submitted your payment yet, please do so ASAP! Your space is not confirmed until payment is received, and spots are filling up quickly. We will be cutting off sign-ups by the end of the month.

- Punkin’ Chunkin’ Teams: Keep building, tinkering, and testing those launchers! The official Punkin’ Chunkin’ sign-up form is coming soon, so start getting your team ready. We can’t wait to see those pumpkins fly again!

And for everyone else...mark your calendars for Saturday, October 10, from 11 AM–4 PM at Pleasant Grove Park. Fall Festival season is almost here! 🍁

Vendor Update for the 2026 Fluvanna Fall Festival!

Vendor applications are continuing to roll in, and we now have only a limited number of vendor spaces remaining!

If you have already submitted an application, please remember that your spot is not confirmed until payment has been received. To ensure we can accommodate as many participants as possible, unpaid spots may be released to vendors on our waiting list.

If you've received a confirmation email but haven't yet submitted payment, we encourage you to do so soon to secure your place at this year's festival.

Help Shape the Future of Pleasant Grove Park!

Fluvanna Parks and Recreation invites residents, park users, and community stakeholders to participate in a Pleasant Grove Park Master Plan Community Input Meeting.

This open-house event is your opportunity to review the park's current amenities and share your ideas for future improvements as part of the 2026 Master Plan.

Date: Thursday, July 23, 2026
Time: 5:00 – 7:00 p.m.
Location: Fluvanna County Library
214 Commons Blvd., Palmyra, VA 22963

The meeting is open-house style, so you can stop by anytime between 5:00 and 7:00 p.m.

Whether you enjoy the trails, athletic fields, gardens, equestrian amenities, community events, or simply spending time outdoors, your input is valuable. Residents, families, community organizations, athletic groups, and anyone interested in the future of Pleasant Grove Park are encouraged to attend.

During the meeting, you'll have the opportunity to:
• Review existing park amenities
• Learn about potential future improvements
• Ask questions and provide feedback
• Help identify priorities for the park's future

Your feedback will help guide the next phase of the Pleasant Grove Park Master Plan, including potential enhancements to recreation, accessibility, gathering spaces, parking, restrooms, trails, and other community amenities.

We hope to see you there and appreciate your participation in shaping one of Fluvanna County's most treasured community spaces!

We are exactly 4 months away from the 2026 Fluvanna Fall Festival - and we have great news! The Punkin' Chunkin' is back!

Start sharpening your engineering skills and gathering your team, because pumpkins will once again be flying across Pleasant Grove Park on Saturday, October 10, 2026!

Whether you're building a catapult, launching with a slingshot, or just coming to cheer on the competitors, this will be a great event for everyone.

Mark your calendars, save the date, and stay tuned for registration details. It's never too early to start planning your championship launcher!
