What a bittersweet weekend. Our last reptile encounter and all of our reptiles sold in the same weekend. Only God could've worked that out! What a remarkable journey this has been. While our hearts are sad to say goodbye to this chapter of our lives, we are so excited for what God has in store for us!

Being able to say that we served Indiana and Kentucky for 8 years, with over 300 reptile encounters, being welcomed into homes, schools, churches, fairs, and festivals, we are beyond blessed! We got to live our dream and see it successful! We aren't closing because it wasn't successful. We are closing because we never said "no". We took on far too much and didn't allow time for our family.

Our family took a back seat, and slowly started falling apart. Now, we're doing what God intended. God first, family second, and everything else after. God has given us another shot at getting it right, but in a completely new and exciting direction. We get to start over as a family. We get to start not just the next chapter, but an entirely new book! God isn't just restoring, He is making all things new!

So, we shed tears as we say goodbye to our beautiful Wild W***y's Reptile Zoo community. We thank each employee, volunteer, customer, fan, merchandise maker, but also our family and friends who took a back seat while cheering us on or even joined us at encounters in support. We couldn't have done it without each of you!

We'll never forget each of the beautiful creatures we got to train, love, and care for. The fact that God allowed us to be voices for these awesome reptile ambassadors over the years, while continuing to do so with some still, we're forever grateful. We are even more grateful to God for finding them each the perfect homes!

Now, help us give God the glory as we embark on our next journey as a family. Thank you each for coming alongside us!

Today wrapped up our very last reptile encounter, and we couldn't have picked better people to spend it with than our most loyal customers who have become like family over the years. Sweet Harper and her family met us at Sellersburg Celebrates back in 2022, where they fell in love with Phoenix. They then booked us for every single one of Harper's birthday parties over the next 4 years, where Phoenix was presented for 3 of. Hence all the Phoenix pictures. Watching them grow together has been sweet!

It's wild to think this was it, but WOW God has blessed us with a great run! Wild W***y said it best today, "It's like getting to the end of your favorite book, and you're sad for it to end." There just aren't enough words to explain how full our hearts are from all of the love and support from our incredible followers, fans, and customers over the last 8 years. But thank you to each of you who helped make this possible! All of our love 🫶🏻💚🐊🐢🦎🐍

Today, Albus, Loki, and Blaze all went to their forever homes! We are so blessed to have found absolutely amazing people, who are already great with these reptiles, to give them homes! What awesome ambassadors they were for us! So long, sweet friends! You'll forever hold a special place in our hearts! 💚🐢🦎🦎

*UPDATE* BOTH SOLD****

Our last two reptile ambassadors for sale. Our big, beautiful, Daisy, and our gentle giant, Albus.

Daisy is our 5 year old, 10 ft, female, Pearl Burmese Python. She is great for all ages, super sweet, a great eater and still get full sheds off of her, but does require experience considering her size and the fact that she's no where near full grown.

Albus is our 16 year old, male, Sulcata Tortoise, weighing in around 75 lbs. He is great with kids, as well as dogs and cats, loves to find a cozy corner to burrow in, and loves to eat! He would make a great pet to someone who has the knowledge that he will get even bigger and outlive them.

I am posting them here as they are the last 2 to go and my hopes is that they will find a great home to go to! Message us for details. Serious inquiries ONLY!!!!

Gabe and Jaxon, our two oldest boys, went on their very last reptile encounter with me today. We headed up South Crawford Elementary School for the second year in a row now, and we were so glad to have got to spend the morning with them! Now the boys lay down their reptile encounter hats and are looking forward to a fun summer!

We couldn't have survived the last eight years without the help of these two! This truly has been a family affair, even our youngest Noah. They help care for the reptile's daily needs, cleaning up after them, and help with encounters. What people don't see are the behind the scenes people who helped make this business possible, and these two boys are such a huge part of that!

Well done, Jax and Gabe! Dad and I are so proud of the amount of responsibility you've both shown while helping care for all of our reptiles over the years, as well as working most of the events! Y'all are the real VIPs! Love you both big!

Yesterday was Wade's very last reptile encounter as a Wild W***y's Reptile Zoo reptile ambassador. It was bittersweet, and I was grateful they got this picture for us. Our sweet girl will be going to Michigan in a couple weeks to her forever home with someone who has been training and working with crocodilian for over 15 years! So, while it's hard to say goodbye, we're so thankful God hand picked this person for Wade! Never has been, never will be, another one like her! 💚🫶🏻🐊

This post is probably the hardest post we'll ever have to make. While our hopes were to go further, our lives changed and circumstances made this impossible to continue. With saddened hearts, we will be closing the doors on Wild W***y's Reptile Zoo beginning June 1st.

We first wanted to allow time to talk with our staff and volunteers and then reach out to all of our customers who had encounters beyond the month of May, as we had to cancel those events and get everyone's refunds sent. Now that we have done that we want to announce to all of you. If you have an encounter booked this month, in April, or in May we will still be honoring those encounters. If your encounter was canceled then we've already spoken to you and refunded your booking.

We couldn't thank you all enough for all of the love and support over the last 8 years! Saying goodbye is hard, but our focus has to be on our family as we are dealing with some extremely hard circumstances. Family first and we hope you all understand that. An even bigger thank you to our staff and volunteers over the years who have helped us make this business what it was. We couldn't have done it without you all! You're forever part of the Wild W***y's family!

A big thanks to the YMCA in Corydon, IN for having us out last night for the basketball teams! We had a blast!

Today we are loading up and headed to Bloomington, IN for a birthday party and are looking forward to it!

Then tomorrow we'll be set up at the reptile expo in Clarksville, IN with some of your favorite reptile ambassadors from 10am-4pm! Be sure to stop by and see us and don't forget to book an encounter and get that expo special! 🐊🐢🦎🐍
