We are pleased to announce that this Wednesday Alisha and Ivan will be teaching beginners West Coast swing dance at Koots' Country Night in Anchorage! This is a One-Time event, age 21+. Be there at 8 p.m. for lessons and carry on the night with country music from DJ Rico!

Greetings swing dancers! 907 Swing has officially decided to not continue classes or socials for the foreseeable future. We are not stopping forever, we are just not able to commit every Sunday of the week with our life schedules. If we are able to start swing classes again we will be posting on this page to update everyone. 907 Swing thanks everyone who has danced with us and look forward to dancing in the future!

Do you still need a swing dance fix? Good news! Sara Cray is teaching lessons at Changepoint church in Anchorage. Today is the last day to join classes as a beginner since they are doing a East Coast Series. They host a social right after the lesson however (all are welcome!). I can speak from experience with Sara that she teaches very well!

Hello dancers!

(Update: Class will not be held today, May 2nd)

So here’s the scoop, Ivan and myself have been talking about how classes in AK Swing would proceed in the coming months. We have concluded that it’s best for everyone’s schedule to halt swing classes for the summer. But don’t worry! We will return in full swing force come late fall! And to top it off, we will be doing a summer swing blastoff party/potluck this Sunday (May 9th)! Bring a favorite dish to share, come prepared to swing dance and kick off the summer with a bang! The potluck will be held in Kastle’s garage in Eagle River, 16518 Marcus St. Party will start at 6pm and end at 9pm. Feel free to message us with any questions or suggestions. Thank you everyone for all your support throughout the last 9 months! We look forward to dancing with you in the social circles!

Come learn West Coast Swing this Sunday! (4/18) We will be teaching the basics and some other moves to top off the lesson. Class will be held at Kastles garage in Eagle River. Address is 16518 Marcus St. Please carpool if at all possible due to limited parking. Lesson is 5:30 - 6:30, social to follow afterward, 6:30 - 9 at the latest. Water and snacks will be provided. Thank you very much to all those who have supported us through this whole adventure! We look forward to dancing with you all!

Hello all! After losing our studio last month we have been looking around for another floor to use in the meantime. For now we are going from location to location depending on who or what becomes available to us. For this Sunday (11th) Kastle Lyne has graciously opened up her garage to be used for swing dance class. This class is FREE. Swing lesson starts at 5:30pm, social starts at 6:30pm and will go to 9pm at the latest. The address is 16518 Marcus st. Eagle River. Looking forward to seeing you there!

💃 Thank you ALL who joined us for our special Lakehouse adventure!

Last night was a blast. Good food, a warm fire, a mini snowball fight, and lots of good dancing! Even my (Ivan) grandparents joined in for a special song ❤️ We Thank them very much for letting us use their house, and we thank You for respecting them and their property.

We hope to pull more activities together soon. In the meantime, enjoy your weeks and Dance On! 🕺

Hello community,
I regret to inform you that due to circumstances beyond our control, we will no longer be using the Level Seven studio.

The last six months have been filled with dancing and socialization, potlucks and some good surprises. We very much appreciate all those who have attended and supported our events.

We hope to continue dancing as we search to secure a new floor. This is not the end, this is merely an opportunity for creative thinking and adventure! As a reach out, we would love any leads or suggestions from the community.
A stable floor is important for dance.
