Greetings from Maine everyone! It’s only two months til we are back at The Spenard Builders Supply Woodlot for our favorite time of year… The Alaska State Fair!

I had to share this photo… I was doing a Show in Kittery, Maine yesterday and a young man approached me and asked if he could take a photo with me and I said ‘Sure’… then he said ‘I need this in the picture too’ and he pulled out this T-shirt!

I love these connections that are made at The Woodlot!

The Team is on their 2nd ‘day-off’… they visited Hatcher Pass yesterday, had a wonderful day with our friend Forest Strick!

We start back up tomorrow for our next 5 day run of FUN AT THE FAIR! See you at 1:00, 3:00 and 6:00 daily!

It’s that time of year where we get to say… WELCOME TO THE 2024 ALASKA STATE FAIR AND THE SPENARD BUILDERS SUPPLY WOODLOT!!!

We start shows today and run through Labor Day Monday!

We have the BEST athletes/hosts joining us again this year… WE CAN’T WAIT!

HAPPY EASTER TO ALL! I wanted to share a few pics from my recent trip to Alaska to volunteer for the Mat-Su 2024 Arctic Winter Games and celebrate St Paddy’s at Lake Louise Lodge!

I have made so many friendships through my time at the Alaska State Fair and it’s opened so many doors… and this trip was proof!

I volunteered at a souvenir shop at Wasilla High School most of the week and ran into so many pals from The Fair and The Iditarod… it even surprised me!

I was able to catch lots of basketball games… and snuck over to the Palmer Curling Club to catch a few games and say hi to friends! On my last day in Alaska, I even ran into Anchorage and caught The Colony Lady Knights Basketball play in the State Tournament!

YO-HO! I just found this treasure and thought I’d share!

Last year after the Alaska State Fair closed, I joined a dozen friends from Maine on the Alaska Railroad from Anchorage to Fairbanks/return. It was an amazing 6 days, we stopped in Talkeetna, Denali Park and Fairbanks on overnights, it was magnificent… and opening the Railroad Companion/Keepsake book while on the 🚂 and finding a picture from The Spenard Builders Supply WoodLot was even cooler!
