Please look at www.noradsanta.org starting the morning of December 24th until you go to bed that night...You HAVE to go to sleep at some point to allow Santa some time to deliver to you - the sooner to sleep, the sooner Christmas morning arrives!

One of the most popular features of NORAD Tracks Santa is the Santa Cam. Beginning on December 24, NORAD will release video clips from around the world showing Santa as he passes key locations. These clips are produced using a combination of animation, satellite-based positioning, and NORAD’s global tracking data.

Santa Cam videos are released throughout the day to help families follow Santa’s journey in a fun and educational way. They also support geography learning, since each clip highlights a unique region of the world.

Santa Cam releases begin the morning of December 24. Follow along at: Official NORAD Tracks Santa https://share.google/nK58AQotCvJKK9xXB
(I don't think the link will work until Dec 24th; can you wait?! You can get the App for your phone too.)

When Angela Lansbury donned the red velvet coat and white fur trim as Mrs. Santa Claus, it wasn’t just a costume it was a reflection of who she truly was. The warmth in her smile, the gentle sparkle in her eyes, and that timeless elegance made her look as though she had stepped straight out of a Christmas storybook. She didn’t just play Mrs. Claus; she embodied the spirit of giving, joy, and love that the character represents.
Off screen, Angela’s life mirrored the compassion she brought to the role. She often spoke about the importance of kindness and gratitude, values she carried both in her performances and her everyday life. Whether on Broadway, in film, or greeting fans, she made everyone feel seen and appreciated a rare gift in an industry often defined by distance.
To this day, her portrayal of Mrs. Santa Claus remains one of her most endearing performances. It wasn’t about fame or glamour it was about heart. Angela Lansbury reminded the world that true holiday magic doesn’t come from sleigh bells or snowflakes, but from the kindness we share with one another.

The modern image of Santa Claus in his iconic red suit was popularized by American cartoonist Thomas Nast in the 1860s. Prior to that, Santa was depicted differently, including as a small elflike figure. The transformation to the jolly red-suited Santa we know today was gradual, influenced by artists like Nast and later Norman Rockwell.
