One week until a very special SPRING FLING! Not only will be celebrating former Mayor Robert Moon, former Drum Major and supporter of all things Palm Springs but also, a performance by Eastman and Michigan Graduate in oboe performance, AND ALUMNI OF PALM SPRINGS HIGH SCHOOL- JESSICA WILKINS performing the Rimsky Korsakov Variations for Oboe and Wind Orchestra with the Spirit of the Sands. Admission is FREE at the Richards Center in Palm Springs Tuesday, February 25th at 7:00 pm. The will also be performing the Shostakovich Festive Overture, Claude T Smith’s Emperata, the Jazz Band, the Visual Corps and more!! See you NEXT TUESDAY!!

End of the first day of competition at the WAMSB WORLD CHAMPIONSHIPS PALM SPRINGS! Great day, wonderful bands, excellent judges, and a great sharing of talent and love of music. Congratulations to Xili Primary from China and Famute from Brazil on becoming World Champions!!
